Gary Barker, proprietor of ‘ART’, trained in furniture and
interior design at Leeds College Of Art, before embarking on a career
in the fitted furniture business. He held the title of Design Director
with a prominent Yorkshire company before founding his own business in
1987, from this early start, and with the assistance of many loyal
customers, ‘ART’ evolved in 1997.
